Tiramisu brunch: weight down for the day!

Located on the ground floor of the brand new Hampton & Homewood Suites by Hilton, Tiramisu opened its large glass doors in November. Last weekend, they inaugurated the brunch menu called Piu Che Perfetto (“More than perfect”).

Unlike the other establishments of the Lucky Belly Group (Le Red Tiger, Le Blossom, Kamé, Ho Lee Chix, Thip Thip), this young address in Chinatown serves cuisine that is not Asian, but Italian-oriented, with a few winks. Japanese eye, here and there.

Its brunch is a collaboration with the specialist in the morning meal, the bistro Le Passé compound, and therefore also has some French intonations. Get ready to overload on fat and carbs (and run a half-marathon in the next week, maybe).

There are several variations of rich preparations on bread, such as poached verdura (brioche, duck egg, mushrooms, creamy sauce, etc.), breakfast pizzas (savory or sweet) and even pasta. Everything can become “brunch” as soon as you put a sunny-side up or poached egg on it, right?

Sugar bugs will appreciate the Misu French Toast (fried?), with decadent maple mascarpone and poached pear, among others.

Do you want to water it down a bit? The bar is also under the sign of brunch, with a Smooth Morning (gin, blackcurrant, yuzu and white beer) or a Bellicot (cognac, Les Îles aperitif, apricot and sparkling wine), for example. The very good coffee, made with Saint-Henri Micro-torréfacteur beans, will completely tear you away from the arms of Morpheus.
