This is the 33rd Press and Media Week in school. The opportunity for franceinfo junior to take an interest in the profession of journalist and the issues around information, with regard to news in Ukraine.

Fourth and last episode this Thursday with Anna Colin Lebedev, lecturer in political science at the University of Paris-Nanterre, specialist in post-Soviet societies. On freedom of the press in Russia, she answers questions from fourth-grade students at Jean Moulin college in Arnouville in Val-d’Oise.

“Can we, as a journalist, speak about the war in Russia?” Niouma first asks on the show. Souleymane’s turn to ask a question on the subject: “Is there the death penalty for journalists?” He also wonders what information is given “to the Russian people about the war in Ukraine. Can they post information on social media?” asks the college student.
