Uncertainty is total on the eve of the Limoges CSP match in Cholet on behalf of the 24th day of the France Elite basketball championship. If coach Massimo Cancellieri is back, the four positive players last week, Nicolas Lang, Grismay Paumier, Assane Ndoye and Ingus Jakovics have not yet received the medical green light for a return to competition. And a 5th player has tested positive this week.
One more case and Friday’s game in Cholet should be postponed
If an additional case were to be declared by Friday noon, Limoges CSP would be unable to field seven professional players and would therefore have to obtain from the National Basketball League medical commission the postponement of Friday’s match within Mauges. New tests were planned before the training session this Thursday noon and another is also scheduled for Friday morning. We will know no later than Friday noon if the match will take place.
