Billy André will try, on March 30, to win the Coupe de France de Burger by Socopa, with his “El Pépé” burger!
Billy André, from Vendée by adoption, has been head chef at the Atelier des Halles in La Roche-sur-Yon for 2 years, within a team of 8 people. The team is committed to working with fresh, local and short-circuit products, preferably from Vendée, for its richness and the quality of the terroir! Burger specialist, Billy defended the colors of the Vendée at the “French Burger Cup by Socopa” 2021 edition with the B4 and finished 7th in the western region. This made him want to take part in the national “Les Burgers Toqués” competition in September 2021. With Thonk&Pop, he brings 3rd place to La Roche-sur-Yon and a lot of pride for his whole team! During the various competitions, Billy André wanted to keep its values and offers recipes by integrating its daily partners. Regardless of the themes proposed for the 2022 competitions, he will continue to draw inspiration from Vendée producers and breeders…
