We haven’t seen or heard from them since October 2020. After the success of their albums The Big Court, The real life and The dream lifethe two singer brothers Bigflo and Oli needed to take a break to find themselves artistically.
After this media break, the two Toulouse rappers signed their return to the Place du Capitole in Toulouse on Tuesday March 22. They locked themselves in a fully glazed cage in which a music studio was reconstituted: with a piano, a mixing desk or even a red sofa.
Inside this mysterious glass cube, the two brothers from the Minimes district shot one of the clips for their next album under the eyes of their audience. Directed by Jérémy Levypon (who had directed the autobiographical documentary almost too much launched on Netflix in 2021) and produced by the company Digizik, the clip will compile images of the cube installed in other places in France, such as Peyragudes, in the Pyrenees, Paris or even Lauzerte (Tarn-et-Garonne).
A purely artistic initiative for the theme of the next album, for the moment kept secret. “What is interesting with this cube concept is to be able to capture people’s gaze and their reactions. The idea was more to have interaction with others than to compose the music in oneself”, Explain Léo, childhood friend of Bigflo and Oli.
The release of this fourth opus is scheduled for the next few months, even the next few weeks. ATfter a total “black out” of social networks, everything suggests that the two rappers are making a gradual comeback. Starting with Instagram posts that reactivate, on an account followed by more than 2 million subscribers. their page had been emptied of its contents a few days ago.
In addition, their photo has been replaced by a visual representing a face in profile, with a heart inside the brain. The suspense grows, the official return of the two brothers will not be long.
