Loïk Le Priol, main suspect in the death on Saturday in Paris of ex-rugby player Federico Martin Aramburu, was arrested in Hungary, France Televisions learned on Wednesday March 23 from the Paris prosecutor’s office. The 27-year-old man, a former soldier and member of the far-right GUD movement, is suspected of having shot the ex-rugby player who died on the spot. He was arrested during a check carried out at a border while he was traveling by car, and would have indicated his intention to go to Ukraine according to a source familiar with the matter.
Another man, also active on the far right, is still wanted.
A young woman, suspected of having participated in the homicide, was indicted on Tuesday for “complicity in murder” and remanded in custody. Aged 24, she is said to have driven the car from which two men allegedly shot the former Argentinian international on a boulevard in the 6th arrondissement.
