Forty years ago left us the legendary actor of waltzers Patrick Dewaere. A tragic anniversary which agitates the world of culture and which will not miss the opportunity to pay tribute to this genius actor. Indeed, the projects are already multiplying around this celebration with, among other things, a documentary, as his daughter Lola Dewaere taught us on her Instagram account.
On July 16, 1982, an emblematic figure of French cinema, actor Patrick Dewaere, died at the age of 35. His suicide had then upset the world of cinema, which revered him for his interpretations in The waltzers or Black sequence. At the dawn of the fortieth anniversary of his death, it was his daughter who revealed that he was collaborating on a documentary in honor of the actor. Also, Lola Dewaere, who does not hide her regret towards the one who abandoned her by committing suicide, said by sharing two archive photos of her father, that a documentary would soon be available. “Voiceover, I can’t wait to show you this moving documentary by Alexandre Moix” can we read on the account of the 42-year-old actress.
