France is a candidate for the organization of the Women’s Euro 2025. The country which has already organized the Women’s World Cup in 2019, formalized its candidacy at the beginning of February. This Tuesday, the French Football Federation announced the list of the twelve pre-selected host cities as part of its candidacy file for the organization of the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025.

The FFF will designate the ten host cities (including two reserve) definitively selected next June, following the general examination of the various application files that UEFA will carry out in April. The host country of the Women’s Euro 2025 will be appointed by UEFA in December 2022.

16 nations in the final phase

The final phase of the European Women’s Championship will bring together 16 nations and will thus make it possible to attend 31 matches in eight stadiums. During the 2019 World Cup, the cities of Le Havre, Lyon, Nice, Paris, Montpellier, Grenoble, Reims, Valenciennes and Rennes hosted competition matches.

The next Women’s Euro will be held from July 6 to 31, 2022 in England.
