For the first time, the newspaper L’Equipe, in partnership with France Bleu, publishes a ranking of the highest salaries of female football players in Division 1. An interesting ranking that shows the abyssal gap between the salaries of men and women in matters of soccer.
Unlike the ranking of the highest salaries for men, dominated by PSG, it is Olympique Lyonnais which dominates the ranking of women, with seven players in the Top 10.

Lyon dominates
France’s two highest-paid female professional soccer players are both from Olympique Lyonnais Ada Hegerberg and Delphine Cascarino. With a gross monthly salary estimated at 40,000 euros, they dominate this ranking. They nevertheless remain very far from the salaries of men, in particular Neymar, at the top of the men’s ranking with an estimated salary of 4.08 million euros.
Olympique Lyonnais and PSG, the two teams with the greatest record of women’s football in France, share this Top 20 of the highest salaries. No other club appears in this list which can be consulted in full in the Team.
