The taxis demonstrate against the rise in fuel prices and demand state aid. To show its dissatisfaction, the Doubs taxi federation is organizing a snail operation this Monday, March 21 2022 in the Besançon conurbation.
Scheduled departures from Auxons and Casino Châteaufarine
The Doubs prefecture foresees around 150 vehicles mobilized. A convoy from Dole and another from Montbéliard must join the Besançon procession. Two departure points are scheduled at 7 a.m.: the TGV station in Auxons and the Géant Casino in Châteaufarine.
Taxis, potentially accompanied by other road professionals (the federation has called on truck drivers to join the mobilization) will then flock to the city centerframing La Boucle.

RN57 to a car park in the commercial area of Châteaufarine, then via the RN57, rue Denis Papin, with a passage in front of the CPAM, rue de Dole, direction Micropolis, then RN57 direction Beure, route de Lyon direction Besançon, tunnel under the citadel, avenue de l’Helvétie, Edgar Faure, place Leclerc, avenue Siffert, rue Oudet, Pont Canot, avenue de la Gare d’eau to park on rue Charles Nodier.
