(Palm Harbor) Canadian Adam Hadwin shot 64 to take the lead with three other golfers at the Valspar Championship on Thursday.

Leading by one stroke, Hadwin, Jhonattan Vegas, David Lipsky and defending champion Sam Burns are at seven under.
Winner of the tournament in 2017, Hadwin amassed eight birdies, including three in a row.
Burns rose well after each of his two bogeys, birding on par threes.
Vegas eagled on its first hole of the back nine.
He finished the day with six birdies, including one thanks to a 25-foot putt.
Lipsky avoided the bogey. He went to the same Los Angeles-area high school as Collin Morikawa (68), winner of the British Open last year and the PGA Championship in 2020.
Danny Lee, Scott Stallings, Richy Werenski and Davis Riley are one stroke behind.
Justin Thomas brought home a card of 66, one shot better than Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka and Louis Oosthuizen. All have at least one victory in major tournaments.
Canada is also represented by Nick Taylor (69), Roger Sloan (71), Mackenzie Hughes (71) and Adam Svensson (71).
