(Calgary) Canadian Natural Resources on Thursday announced a 25% increase in its dividend, after posting a profit of $ 2.2 billion for its third quarter.
The Calgary-based company said its quarterly dividend would now be 58.75 cents per share.
Canadian Natural earnings reached $ 1.86 per share for the quarter ended Sept. 30, up from $ 408 million, or 35 cents per share, for the same period last year.
Revenue totaled $ 7.71 billion, up from $ 4.5 billion in the third quarter of 2020.
Daily production averaged the equivalent of 1,237,503 barrels of oil per day, which was higher than 1,111,286 barrels per day in the same period last year.
On an adjusted basis, Canadian Natural posted earnings from operations of $ 2.1 billion, or $ 1.77 per share, up from $ 135 million, or 11 cents per share, in the same quarter a year earlier.
