A career that takes off

Since winning the young talent award in 2021, her career has taken off. Two albums should be released in 2023. The project with which she won the prize is gradually being transformed into a 180-page comic strip, which will be published with Delcourt editions.

Angoulême, capital of comics

But it doesn’t stop there. As winner of the year 2021, Coline Hégron was able to decorate the young talent pavilion with her creationsthe festival gave me carte blanche for the scenography. It’s very nice to see his work like this in a big way.

The manchoise remains for the moment in Angoulême, capital of the comic strip, to devote herself to her projects. She also works with her collective of comic book authors with whom she now has a room. They are also present at the festival.

A dream come true

A year after winning the prize, Coline Hégron is starting her career, but with great optimism for the future. “I have the feeling that _it’s a dream come true_. In the art world, we always wonder if we’re going to be able to live off that. I was lucky not to have had to ask myself the question when I left school. I feel very lucky and I’m very happy”, concludes the sleeve.
