Times are hard. The war in Ukraine is raging and scaring the whole world, the price of gasoline keeps rising and the Covid-19 pandemic does not seem to be easing… In short, we thought we had passed the hardest part there. a few months but the world seems to sink even more into darkness. The term obviously remains exaggerated but when we see the direction that the world seems to be taking, we have reason to ask ourselves certain questions about it.
And if there is one person who can agree with the worsening situation, it is Alain Chamfort. The musician, singer and composer announcing very sad news to his fans through his Facebook account. A news being linked to the Covid-19 pandemic which is picking up the hair of the beast… The artist was already announcing a bad one in 2016 when he was suffering from a bone disease. A distant memory on which he had wished to return in the columns of Medisite: “I’m totally recovered”, he reassured before explaining his discretion about his illness: “I did not want to communicate about my bone disease, but it forced me to cancel certain concerts. I had to justify myself to the public”.
Today, the artist is doing better. At least when it comes to bone disease. But it is against a new disease that he will have to fight and which has just turned his whole agenda upside down. Alain Chamfort having contracted Covid-19 a few days ago, forcing him to cancel a date for his symphonic concert at the Grand Rex. “It is with great regret that I postpone this date having caught the Covid. The symphony concert will therefore be postponed to March 23, 2022”he explained on his Facebook page.
We wish a speedy recovery to Alain Chamfort and hope that he will come back in better shape than ever to offer the show long awaited by his audience.
