Twenty-two people, including members of a family, were arrested on Tuesday March 15 in the Florane city in Toulon (Var), according to information from France Bleu Provence. These arrests are part of an investigation for cocaine trafficking in this city. These people were arrested by the departmental security, with the reinforcement of the Raid.

According to information from France Bleu Provence, the investigation showed that for several months a family from this city had organized several deal points, almost exclusively for cocaine. The father, mother and their three sons managed this traffic.

According to France Bleu, a four-storey building in the Cité Florane was requisitioned by traffickers to sell drugs. The building was completely damaged, the tiles torn out, the entrance ransacked and the vacant apartments used for traffic.

The family is suspected of having used labor from the Paris region, according to France Bleu Provence. These people came for two weeks or a month and then left. Others arrived in stride to replace them, and continue the trade. A trade that could bring in at least 10,000 euros per day, according to France Bleu.
