A woman hit by a train in Moncel-lès-Lunéville, SNCF traffic disrupted

A 59-year-old woman was killed, hit by the train which linked Nancy to Saint-Dié-Des-Vosges this Thursday, November 4. The train accident occurred around 7:30 am in Moncel-Lès-Lunéville, near the level crossing of the Mondon farm according to the Meurthe-et-Moselle firefighters.

Resumption of traffic announced for 10am

The ten or so passengers on board the train were evacuated and transported by bus. They weren’t hurt. The Nancy-Saint-Dié and Nancy-Raon-l’Etape lines are at a standstill, the one between Nancy and Metz has also been affected since the accident.
