Not a thousand and a hundred but it’s always taken!
At Total Energies Luxembourg
Total Energies stations offer a loyalty card.
Attention, it is not the same as that of the French stations.
It is called the total club Luxembourg.
You can do it on the Total Luxembourg website and then collect it at a service station in the country.
With this card, after filling up with at least 25 L at Lux, you automatically benefit from 35 days of breakdown assistance anywhere in Europe, the period starts immediately after your purchase.
The number to call is on the card.
Breakdown, accident, flat tire, theft… Total will send a tow truck or do what is necessary to help you.
At Q8 Luxembourg
Q8 stations, very present in Luxembourg but unknown in France, also offer a loyalty card… quite interesting.
It is free, just ask for it at the station.
By passing it each time: you will get a smile for a liter of gasoline.
If you shop in store: you will get a smile for every euro spent.
After 500 smiles, you earn a €5 discount on your fill-up… or €5 to spend with partners (mediamarkt, which is the German and Luxembourgish Darty, decathlon or even at Kinepolis Luxembourg to buy cinema tickets).
It’s also always taken!
This card has a defect, you don’t accumulate points when you buy tobacco in the Q8 store… too bad, it could have made the gauge go up faster, especially for those who bring cartridges back to friends or family.
At Cora Foetz
Last loyalty card that can save you money, it is for those who work in the Esch-sur-Alzette area or who live in Villerupt, Audun-le-tiche or Russange (beyond that, it’s not worth it to do so many kilometres).
The Cora de Foetz very often sells a liter of petrol 1 or 2 cents cheaper than the other stations (in Luxembourg, the price of petrol is regulated, it is the government that sets the prices, we cannot sell it more expensive… but nothing prevents it from being sold for less).
The Cora brand does not deprive itself and offers a free loyalty card which lowers the price by 3% each time you go to the “guitoune”… it’s an immediate discount.
Attention, it does not work if you go to the automatic cashier of the station.
And the French Cora card does not pass either, you must have the Cora Foetz card.
It’s a good plan that cross-border commuters have been sharing for years.
And it’s… always that!
