Thursday, March 10, one month before the first round of the presidential election, Jean-Luc Mélenchon is already in the second round. He hopes that left-wing voters will vote useful.
One month before the first round of the presidential election, candidate Jean-Luc Mélenchon is optimistic. For him, his qualification in the second round is possible. He thus hopes to offer an alternative to the extreme right. Marine Le Pen, weakened by the candidacy of Éric Zemmour, is worried about such a hypothesis. “If Zemmour holds up, he takes the risk of beating Marine Le Pen in favor of the Trotskyist Mélenchon” tweeted Jean-Lin Lacapelle, MEP for the National Rally.
The candidate LFI (rebellious France) continues to climb in the polls. With 12% of voting intentions Thursday, March 10, Jean-Luc Mélenchon is behind Éric Zemmour (13%) and Marine Le Pen (14.5%). The Insoumis candidate remains divisive, however, even among left-wing voters. In front of him, the electorate of the communist Fabien Roussel, which weighs 4%, could cause him harm.
