Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to address the Canadian Parliament on Tuesday morning.

This was announced on Thursday by Ajax MP and Leader of the Government in the House of Commons, Mark Holland.
The MP made the request in a letter sent to the Speaker of the House of Commons, where it is specified that his speech should take place at around 11.15 a.m.
“This would be an opportunity for Canadians to hear directly from President Zelensky about the urgent and dire situation facing the Ukrainian people,” it read.
Mr. Zelensky is expected to speak after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The leaders of the other parties are also expected to speak following the intervention of the Ukrainian president, as well as the president of the Senate and the speaker of the House.
“The people of Ukraine have shown extraordinary courage in defending their country against Vladimir Putin’s unjustifiable military invasion. Their president, Volodymyr Zelensky, has been at the forefront of defending Ukraine’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and democracy in the face of Russian aggression,” Holland added in his letter. .
Remember that the Ukrainian president had gone through a similar exercise last week before the American Congress in order to ask for additional help from the United States.
