Angèle and Fabrice have been living on the heights of Escaro since 2014 after an agricultural journey made up of seasons here and there. They took over a farm by choice of life, not by whim. Their exploitation “D’Amour et d’Eau fraîche” is located at an altitude of 1100 m. Mid-mountain farmers, their production is out of step with that of the plain.

At the moment, they are sowing onions and leeks then will come potatoes (désirée, rosée, mayflower, worked in animal traction), carrots, tomatoes (15 old varieties from peasant seeds), salads. “We start production quite late, but given the altitude of Escaro, we offer seasonal vegetables”, explains Fabrice. And organic of course!

The “Love and Fresh Water” vegetables will be on the stalls of the Prades market on Tuesdays from May until the end of December, as well as at the farm because Angèle and Fabrice wish to develop sales on exploitation “to make the village live”.
The farm’s hens and honey are there for self-consumption.
