(Rochester) Jesse Ylönen hit the target twice and the Laval Rocket easily won 7-2 against the Rochester Americans on Wednesday in an American Hockey League duel.

Devante Smith-Pelly, Rafaël Harvey-Pinard and Danick Martel all finished the game with a goal and an assist. Tory Dello and Brandon Gignac also hit the mark for the Rocket.
Peter Abbandonato had two assists in the win.
Kevin Poulin, AHL Goaltender of the Month for February, made 34 saves.
His vis-à-vis, Aaron Dell, stopped 30 of 37 shots aimed at the goal of the Americans.
Sean Malone and Jimmy Schuldt flashed the red light for the Buffalo Sabres farm club.
Jean-François Houle’s troop signed a second victory in three games. It was the first part of the Laval team abroad since February 23.
The Rocket (26-19-3) edged the Toronto Marlies in the North Division standings. The Montreal Canadiens farm club came within four points of the Americans and the second tier of the section while having six games in hand over their rivals.
The Rocket will take over the collar on Friday, to face Ian Laperrière’s troupe, the Phantoms, in Lehigh Valley.
