The wait is over. The Quebec government called a by-election on Tuesday that will allow voters in the riding of Marie-Victorin to choose their next MP on April 11.
The decision was taken following an exceptional meeting of the Council of Ministers. “Quebec will be deconfined in a few days and all candidates will be able to meet voters without restriction,” Prime Minister François Legault said in a written statement on Tuesday.
Further details will follow.
