The battle will continue between Jumbo-Visma and the rest of the peloton. After a crazy 2nd stage won by the Dutchman Fabio Jakobsen, the Paris-Nice riders are rolling on Tuesday March 8 between Vierzon and Dun-le-Palestel. A third stage of 191 kilometers with a majority of flat, but punctuated by bumps at the end of the course.
A stage which could see the Jumbo-Visma team and its yellow jersey Christophe Laporte lock the race, as since the departure from Mantes-la-Ville on Saturday. But several sprinters outside the Dutch armada, like Fabio Jakobsen (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl) or Sam Bennett (Bora-Hansgrohe), could have their card to play in the event of a grouped finish, unless a sprinter-puncher like Wout van Aert or Mads Pedersen comes to provoke a sprint between strong guys.
