The season is not over yet, but the DFCO is already preparing for the future. Midfielder Yanis Chahid, 17, signed his first professional contract, for a period of three years. The club announces it on Monday March 7, 2022. The player arrived at the training center in 2017, at the age of 12 from Jura Dolois.
An “elegant” environment
Yanis Chahid is described as an “elegant midfielder” in the press release published by the DFCO. “It is a first accomplishment of a lot of work and sacrifice. I went through moments of doubt, but my loved ones have always been by my side to help me raise my head, to overcome challenges and help me to remain efficient. […] I thank all the coaches I had during my training. They all brought their stone to the building”, said the player on the club’s website.
This “fan of Thiago Alcantara”, several times selected for the France U16 and U17 team, evokes a “milestone” about this signature:Now the goal is to get a place in the professional team. Achieving these goals requires a great deal of self-sacrifice and discipline.”
