With the columnist of Do not touch My TV on C8the singer returned to his collaboration with Charles Aznavour, in 2002 as part of his fifth album (and first double studio album, editor’s note) Between two.
An opus in which he took over many great successes from the 1930s to 1950s, in a revisited way. Together they took over Ménilmontant from Charles Trenet. Facing the ex-host of Video Gag, he then told the details of this “crazy story”.

Me, it’s Ménilmontant, it’s Saturday, it’s 3 p.m.he remembered. “On Saturday, at 3 p.m. sharp, he pushed open the door to the studio, he kept his coat on, he came behind the microphone. We did a take. I said to him: “Let’s do another one?” He said to me: ‘What for? You don’t like that one? We’re going to listen. Thank you gentlemen, great.” And he left.”
A story that he had been able to share in Chantons Aznavour on France 3, at the end of 2021 with Dany Brillant.
In addition to Charles Aznavour, Patrick Bruel had invited other big names in French song: Johnny Hallyday, Jean-Louis Aubert, Zazie, Alain Souchon, Francis Cabrel, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Renaud, Laurent Voulzy but also actresses at the image by Sandrine Kiberlain and Emmanuelle Béart.
