The war in Ukraine is experienced with pain by the three million Ukrainians who live in Russia. Some have just come to work for better wages and are passing through. At 55, Vladimir is a concentrate of the intertwined history of the two countries. Born in central Ukraine, he arrived in Moscow in 1985 to study there and has not left since. He even has a Russian passport today, but since Wednesday March 2, he has made his decision. “Now I have no choice but to leaveregrets Vladimir. Other Ukrainians have more difficult relations with their families who reproach them for doing nothing. “No one understands why we don’t take to the streets to demonstratesays Irina.
