This retired couple changed their radiator and installed a thermostat to moderate the temperature in their home. Their annual electricity bill last year reached 1,200 euros. A colossal sum that forces Marie-Pascale and her husband to heat only the essential rooms of their houses. “Bathroom, when you take a bath, kitchen, dining room, but the rest is not”, explains Jean-Marc Bayard.
