(Geneva) US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Tuesday suggested excluding Moscow from the UN Human Rights Council after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

“It is reasonable to ask whether a UN member state that tries to take over another UN member state, while committing horrific human rights violations and causing enormous humanitarian suffering, should be allowed to stay on this Council,” he said, in a video address to the Council.
