Since 2002, Virginie Lemoine shares her life with Darius Kehtari. Very discreet, the lovers rarely appear in public. In 2010, they walked together on a Monte Carlo red carpet and attended the 24th ceremony of the Night of the Molières (see slideshow). If they appear little at parties or official events, the couple works hand in hand on the small screen.
Virginie Lemoine has also invited her companion to join her in the series of which she was one of the stars for more than ten years: Host family. “In the last episode of the season, I will find myself playing with my companion in life, comedian Darius Kehtari!“, she had revealed at the time with great enthusiasm to the magazine TV 7 days.
On the boards, the couple appears in the room A diva in Sarcelles in 2010 but also in Brigitte, branch manager imagined by the actress herself, in 2013. Not drying up praise for her darling, she explained to France Evening : “He is a real comedian, unlike me. He is a man with a certain charisma and I even poached him to make an appearance in Foster Family. And also in A diva in Sarcelles where he replaced at short notice the character of the janitor, who had fallen two meters high from a ladder and had fractured his spine !”
A meeting that changed the life of Virginie Lemoine who finally found peace alongside this actor of Iranian origin. At the beginning of the 2000s, just after her separation from Laurent Gerra, Virginie Lemoine suffered from a terrible disease which gnawed at her but whose existence she dared not reveal. Interviewed by France Evening in 2010, the actress finally managed to put words to her ailments and confided that she had suffered from anorexia for a long time until her decisive meeting with the actor of the film The Kids (2013).
“My weight problems started when I stopped my duet with Laurent Gerra. They lasted until I met my partner, comedian Darius Kehtari, eight years ago. I had then lost 17 kg. The day he said to me: If you don’t eat, I’ll leave you, I started eating again. I did not realize, at that time, the risks I was running.” she explained, very grateful.
