The senator from Bouches-du-Rhône elected under the label of the National Rally (RN) Stéphane Ravier joined Eric Zemmour and it was he who was the star of the meeting which was held last night at the MIN in Cavaillon. At his side there was also Laurence Crochut (ex LR) spokesperson for Eric Zemmour. Stéphane Ravier was particularly applauded when he launched a call to Mario Marechal Le Pen to join them and why not to stand for legislative office in Vaucluse.
Meeting Reconquest on Vaucluse soil
The Carpentrassien and general Bertrand De la Chesnaie campaign director of Reconquête also spoke. Also present, the Avignon lawyer Jean-François Ceccaldi, departmental secretary of the new far-right party called for “to put the church back in the center of the village”
Nearly 800 people sang “we are at home”
We also noticed the presence of Yann Bompard, the mayor of the Southern League of Orange, who was the first in Vaucluse to offer his sponsorship to the founder of the Reconquest party. But it was his father Jacques who spoke on the platform. He recalled that Eric Zemmour still lacked 85 sponsorships to be able to present himself. Jacques Bompard, the founder of the Southern League from Orange, sees in the candidacy of Éric Zemmour the culmination of the fight he has been leading for 40 years.
