No Caesar for Quebecers

The three Quebec actors who were in the running for the César, Friday evening, in Paris, will leave the ceremony empty-handed.

In the category of Best Supporting Actress, Danielle Fichaud, nominated for her role as Aline Dieu’s mother, in the film Alinesaw Aissatou Diallo Sagna (The divide) grab the trophy.

On the male side, still for the César for best supporting role, Vincent Lacoste was preferred to his playing partner in lost illusionsXavier Dolan, as well as Sylvain Marcel, from the film Aline.

Halfway through the ceremony, hosted by Antoine de Caunes, this is also the film lost illusionsby Xavier Giannoli, who is in the lead with four Césars.
