Régine Laurent is concerned about the invasion in Ukraine, especially the impact on the population of the country.

“When the metro is your shelter, you have to ask yourself who you can count on.”
Mme Laurent believes “there is something to be done to find this humanitarian corridor” that Zelensky previously requested.
“A humanitarian corridor is just being able to evacuate people who are injured to treat them and not let them die bleeding in excruciating pain,” she said.
It would also be the possibility of delivering medical equipment and medicines to the population in need.
“I make this appeal wholeheartedly for this humanitarian corridor,” says Régine Laurent, even if she explains that the whole thing can be a real challenge.
“Unfortunately, Putin is going to be able to live well with the fact that he will go down in history as the cruellest, fiercest, most barbaric of our 21and century.”
