Michel Barrette, Stéphane Rousseau, Christine Beaulieu, Ines Talbi and Matthieu Pepper will also be part of the project, which will begin filming on February 28.
The Choral Film December 23 tells the intertwined destinies of several characters that we will follow in the frenzy of the day before Christmas. Virginie Fortin will play Elsa, a hardened bachelor in search of love. Catherine Brunet and François Arnaud will be Stéphanie and Alex, a couple who are expecting their first child, while Stéphane Rousseau will play the role of a singer returning to the stage after a break. The young Tao Vigneault will play a teenager who carries a big secret.
Directed by Miryam Bouchard (Can you hear me ?), produced by A Médias Films and Guillaume Lespérance, December 23 is a film that screenwriter and author India Desjardins has been working on for more than ten years.
The theatrical release of the feature film is scheduled for November 25, 2022.
