This is probably the last societal reform of Emmanuel Macron’s five-year term. Parliament has definitively adopted the extension of the legal duration of the voluntary termination of pregnancy (IVG), which can be carried out up to 14 weeks of pregnancy, against 12 currently, after a final vote in the National Assembly on Wednesday 23 February.
The text was presented in October 2020 by Albane Gaillot, ex-deputy La République on the march past among ecologists.
