The special meeting: A break with Émile Bilodeau
Raise your hand if, like us, you appreciate the wave of special and joyfully offbeat musical programs that Télé-Québec has been offering since January. After the excellent Blizzard show signed Cœur de pirate and the amazing Living: the spectral spectacle of Klô Pelgag, the public broadcaster gives carte blanche to the truculent Émile Bilodeau. With his guests, the singer-songwriter storms Notre-Dame College to mark (you guessed it) Spring Break. In addition to hearing the songs of Émile Bilodeau, you will see Jérôme 50 sing the irresistible TokebakicitteJason Roy Léveillée offer a re-reading of Start of the Madcon group, Véronique Claveau taking over Born This Way of Lady Gaga surrounded by cheerleaders, and PETiTOM and Redgee deliver Papaoutai of Stromae. Another detail to highlight, Chantal Fontaine plays a teacher. (You can lower your hand.)
Télé-Québec, Saturday at 8 p.m. (recall Sunday at 9 p.m.)
The roll of the dice: Euphoria
You could call the second season aEuphoria erratic. A week, we hate; the next one, we love it. Yes, it’s hard to understand certain screenplay choices (Nate with Cassie? A Rue-Jules-Elliot love triangle? Where’s Kat?) and sometimes, we suspect director Sam Levinson of putting on a show to camouflage his lack of inspiration on the text side. But OK. When Euphoria hits the target, it’s a home run. Like the episode of the intervention, thanks to which Zendaya should obtain a new selection at the Emmys. As for the prize for best new character, it inevitably goes to Laurie, the enigmatic drug dealer played by Martha Kelly.

The safe bet: Anne… the house of green gables
The recent CBC remake, Anne with an E (which can be found on Netflix), was not bad, but let’s face it, there’s nothing like the original. We bet that many will not be able to resist the marathon that ELLE Fictions offers over the next two weekends: the four TV movies broadcast in full version. Television adaptation of the novel by Canadian author Lucy Maud Montgomery, Anne… the house of green gables tells the story of orphan Anne Shirley, after her arrival at Cuthbert Farm, Prince Edward Island. With Megan Follows (reign), Jackie Burroughs (Avonlea’s Tales), Colleen Dewhurst (Annie Hall) and Shirley MacLaine (Steel Magnolias).
ELLE Fictions, Saturday and Sunday from 5 p.m.
The novelty : family weekend
Quebec actress Daphnée Côté-Hallé, who we saw in Miscellaneous facts and six degrees, holds one of the main roles in this new series produced by Disney+ France, which paints the portrait of Fred (Eric Judor), the father of three young girls aged 9, 12 and 15… all from a different mother. The actress defends the character of Emmanuelle, a Quebecer passing through Paris with whom Fred falls madly in love. The trailer suggests a comedy full of good feelings… if we disregard the “Ah tabarnak! “Well felt that Emmanuelle lets go after 50 seconds. (Note that in France, family weekend is called… Family weekend.)
On Disney+ from Wednesday
