On social networks, he explains that “During this match, an opponent had the audacity to call me a gorilla from the bench, when I was not even talking to him”. Without giving a name, he nevertheless denounces “that in 2022, racism is alive and well in the world of hockey”. “When is this kind of behavior going to stop, I’m really sick of it” finally laments the angloy defender.
For his part, the Hormadi also reacted on social networks to join CJ Garcia and “strongly condemn the comments made about him”.
