This Sunday noon, the largest Breton flag in the world was unfurled in Nantes

They wanted to make an impression. Bringing their major demand to the forefront of the political scene: the attachment or reintegration of Loire-Atlantique to Brittany and the organization of a referendum. A few hundred activists for the cause deployed a 1,400 m2 Gwenn ha du in the center of Nantes.

The associations campaigning for the Loire-Atlantique to reintegrate into the bosom of Brittany have been strong: they have unfurled a huge Breton flag, the Gwenn ha du, of 1400 m2, (46 meters, over 31 meters) at the foot of the ramparts of the castle of the Dukes of Brittany.

A symbolic gesture, during the electoral campaign to demand once again the organization of a referendum on the question of the reunification of historic Brittany. And remember that the city of Nantes has made a wish in 2021 for the state to organize a popular consultation in 2024.

The organizers of this event will continue to mobilize. Thus on March 27 they launched a call for a rally in Nantes and on March 28, a meeting was given in Paris in front of the Maison de la Bretagne to support their claim.
