After two years of health crisis, wedding professionals are experiencing a wedding boom this year. Caterers and specialized agencies are overwhelmed with requests, which also causes some traffic jams to say yes.
These are the last adjustments for Tiphaine Ing, future bride. She has been planning to get married for over a year but feared that the Covid would disrupt her big day. “Fingers crossed, that there is not yet a sixth wave, restrictions”, she says. The ceremony will take place in the fall, the July-August period being complete.
Indeed, this year, professionals in the sector are overwhelmed, in particular because of the weddings which have been postponed. They try despite everything to say “yes” to all the bride and groom. Alexandre and Cindy Poupry were to get married last July but the ceremony has been postponed. They have to reorganize everything and admit having had difficulty finding a room, in particular because of the dates. They have just booked in time because their room is full until the end of the year.
