The Pop Women Festival is officially launched, as part of the cultural candidacy of Reims 2028!

Women will be in the spotlight at the Pop Women Festival, which has just been launched! This festival will take place in March 2022 as part of Reims’ candidacy as Capital of Culture in 2028.

For a long time already, Reims is a city ​​of culture. It shines, including at the international level and aims to be, in 2028named European capital of culture. And, long before that, from March 2022it will also be a city feminine and pop at a time ! Indeed, Wednesday February 16 was officially launched on Pop Women Festivala cultural novelty that should appeal to more than one!

The festival will take place on March 10, 2022from 5:30 p.m. at the Reims Congress Center.

The Pop Women Festival is a new festival; a new kind of festival, crossing of artistic disciplines highlighting the “different expressions of female creativityaccording to the official website of the event.

If Culture is rather well present in France, we can however deplore a certain lack of visibility of female artists. The Pop Women Festival therefore undertakes to highlight creators from pop culture : directors, photographers, musicians, sculptors, authors of comic strips or comedians will therefore be put forward. And what better, for that, than our beautiful City of Coronations to sublimate this event?

For this 2022 edition, various artists (as well as an artist!) will come to promote their discipline, their relationship to art and femininity. The headliners of the round table of this 2022 edition are Pénélope Bagieu (comic book author), Mamouz (comedian and former journalist and activist), Jennifer Padjemi (journalist), Claire Laffut (musician) and Yuksek (DJ). The round table will be moderated by cultural journalist Sophie Rosemont.

The roundtable will end with the traditional autograph sessionwith free registration.

The “drawn” concert will close the evening in the most beautiful way, through a live performance mixing the arts and more precisely, here, music and drawing.
