The boss of the Les Républicains party, Christian Jacob, is taking part in a public meeting this Thursday evening at Bouscat, in the midst of the presidential campaign. For the mayor LR of Bouscat, Patrick Bobet, Valérie Pécresse “should no longer get lost” and refocus on “the pillars” of his political family.
Valérie Pécresse’s campaign for the presidential election is struggling to take off: on the ground, the executives of the Republicans are beating the drum. The boss of the Les Républicains party, Christian Jacob, is in Gironde this evening for a public meeting at Bouscat. An appointment in which will of course participate the mayor LR of Bouscat, Patrick Bobet, guest of France Bleu Gironde this Thursday morning. He now expects his candidate to “extremely realistic and transparent speaking”.
He specifies : “For the past few weeks, we have had the impression that our candidate has been running after certain things, sometimes speeches by competitors. I believe that we simply have to reaffirm what we are. Let’s be proud of the values we hold, of our convictions. We give the impression of looking for ideas on the right, on the left. If I say that, it’s not by chance”. For “no longer scatter”Patrick Bobet believes that Valérie Pécresse must now campaign on “two pillars of Gaullism”: the greatness of France on the international scene and the human being at the heart of any decision, according to the former president of Bordeaux Métropole.
