Seventeen deaths linked to COVID-19 were reported in Quebec on Monday, while an increase of 14 hospitalizations is reported.
There are now 2,095 hospitalizations. Of those patients, 136 are in intensive care, down from four.
Since the start of the pandemic, 900,273 infections have been reported, and 13,710 of them have been fatal.
The Ministry of Health reports 1431 new cases of COVID-19. However, this number is not representative of the situation since access to screening centers is restricted to certain priority groups.
A total of 80,807 rapid tests, including 62,787 positive, have been self-reported so far on the platform set up by the government. For the day on Sunday, 569 tests were declared, including 428 positive.

With regard to vaccination, 12,174 doses have been administered in Quebec in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health, 91% of the population aged 5 and over received a first dose of the vaccine, 86% received two doses and 49% received three doses.
Since January 24, 20,315 people aged 18 and over have received a first dose of the vaccine.
