Fruity chocolate pleasure
VeriFruit dark chocolate coated frozen fruits are now available across the province in Metro grocery stores. It was in 2021 that the founders of Royal Blueberry, located in northern Lac-Saint-Jean, created the VeriFruit division to put wild blueberries in the spotlight. And they didn’t stop at blueberries. Indeed, the VeriFruit line consists of three small fruits: blueberries, raspberries and strawberries. These three fruits from Quebec are coated in 57% dark chocolate. To taste them, simply put the desired portion in a bowl and wait for about twenty minutes. Interesting fact: the texture changes over time. For example, after about fifteen minutes, the blueberries are still cold and the chocolate is very crunchy, while after thirty minutes, the chocolate is still just as crunchy, but the blueberries are melting.
