Every week, the “It starts today” program unleashes passions on France 2. On January 18, Faustine Bollaert wanted to put the dishes in the big ones to delight her viewers. To celebrate the 750ᵉ issue of the show, former figures – who marked the show – were there. Like Paul El Kharrat!
As a reminder, the young man – suffering from Asperger’s syndrome – distinguished himself for a long time in the “12 noon shots” on TF1. His general culture and his good humor won over the crowds. To this day, it is on the radio that his admirers can find him. But lately, Paul El Kharrat has not only had happy moments in his life.
In a sequence of “It starts today”, he made it clear to Faustine Bollaert. “I find it ridiculous”, dropped the main interested party about the filming and to add: “We are on a show where there are a lot of feelings, emotions. Me, when I don’t feel well, I find it pathetic, I’m sorry for you. But when I’m not feeling well, I’m very, very tough, very, very strict. I can’t stand when the other is happy, happy…”.
In his tirade, Paul El Kharrat did not mince his words: “For example, when I’m at home and I watch your show and it’s crying, I find it ridiculous. […] No outpouring, I’m not crying. It feels like I’m super tough.” To which Faustine Bollaert responded wisely: “There, a little, but I know that’s not quite true”. For Tele-Star, Maxime Chattam’s wife has agreed to discuss this sequence “non-controversial”.
Compassionate, Faustine Bollaert ignored her tackles and mainly focused on her dismay in front of the camera. “I felt that what he was trying to explain to us was not as violent as his words. What he explained to us was that emotion makes him uncomfortable”explained the happy mother of two children who was touched by her cry from the heart. “When you lay yourself bare like this, he feels in danger. And it turns out that the day he came, he was in a fragile period […]. “I had a lot of tenderness for what he gave us on this set. Through his discomfort, we understood his discomfort”. True words !
