Sir Elton John will not present his farewell tour in Montreal on February 18 and 19.

The 74-year-old British singer announced on his Instagram account on Friday that he had to cancel his planned concerts in Montreal and Toronto due to the health restrictions in place.
“It is with great sadness that I have to cancel the series of shows planned in Montreal and Toronto as part of my Ferewell Yellow Brick Road tour due to the restrictions imposed to fight against COVID-19”, a-t -he writes.
“I’m sorry to all my ‘fans’ who waited for it,” he added, meaning that all tickets will be refunded.
He is, however, expected to return to Toronto as part of his stadium and arena tour on September 7.
Two weeks ago, the “Rocketman” tested positive for COVID-19. He then canceled two concerts in Dallas, in the southern United States.
