The complaint, filed Wednesday in civil in federal court, also targets Bishop Don “Magic” Juan, whose real name is Donald Campbell and presented as the “spiritual adviser” of Snoop Dogg, meanwhile Calvin Broadus for civil status. .
According to the complainant’s account, who requested anonymity, she was a dancer at the time and performed on stage for the artist and other rappers.
After a night out at Snoop Dogg’s studio in May 2013, Campbell offered to drive her home but actually drove her to her own home where, “exhausted, she fell asleep.”
The plaintiff accuses Campbell of sexually assaulting her in the early hours of the morning, before driving her back to Snoop Dogg’s studio for an audition later that day.
Despite the context, she says she accepted “in the hope of advancing her career”.
Once at the studio, she felt ill and went to the bathroom. The complaint claims that Snoop Dogg took the opportunity to open the bathroom door where he forced her to perform oral sex while she relieved herself.
He had left her there, “humiliated, terrified and panicked,” according to the complaint.
The young woman is asking for damages in an unspecified amount.
The very day of the filing of the complaint, after the failure of private mediation between the two parties, Snoop Dogg published on his Instagram account that “the season for gold diggers (diamond diggers, editor’s note) has begun”. “Be careful,” he told his fans in this message, without explicit reference to the complaint but accompanied by emojis representing a policeman, a judge and a bag of money.
The rapper, considered one of the richest in the United States, is among the hip-hop stars who will perform in Los Angeles on Sunday at the final of the American football championship, one of the most watched events in the year in the United States.
