The One Ocean summit, or World Summit of the Oceans, ends Friday February 11, in Brest (Finistère). The opportunity to talk about the sea and the pollution that threatens it. Pupils from the CM2 class of the Eustache-Varet-de-Violaines elementary school (Pas-de-Calais) ask their questions to Guillaume Néry, multi-award-winning freediver and Summit ambassador.
Thibaud first asks: “VSow does waste get into the ocean? Adrien worries about whether “Can you die eating fish that contains microplastics?” Next, Lola would like to know if he “Is it possible that by 2050 most marine animals will be endangered? Will they all die?”.
Is it possible to remove plastics from the oceans?
Thibaud wonders again: “VSow do boats pollute and how to avoid it? And finally Lola asks this last question: “Are there solutions to save the oceans? Isn’t it too late?”.
