L’Auberge des Roses in Monein open for Valentine’s Day normally closed

The Auberge Des Roses has a loyal clientele in the Lacq basin during the week, lunchtime regulars and families like this 99-year-old gentleman who had 3 generations around the table. In the summer we take advantage of the terrace and discover a new little tapas corner, says Hervé Barriere.

Everything is homemade from A to Z, even the French toast brioche!

Seasonal fish from the St-Jean-de-Luz auction, currently cod, scallops, langoustines and the meat side of suckling lamb, suckling pig. All meats are of impeccable quality, as are organic and local vegetables as much as possible. Monday is the day of closing yes but the one that arrives is Valentine’s Day so Hervé Barrière puts the dishes before going on a well-deserved vacation!
