The Montreal Alouettes signed contract extensions on Monday for running back William Stanback, linebacker Chris Ackie and receiver Jake Wieneke.

Stanback and Ackie have signed two-year extensions while Wieneke will return for the 2022 season. Stanback and Wieneke are Americans while Ackie is Canadian.
Stanback, who is 6 feet tall and weighs 233 pounds, rushed for 1,176 yards last season while rushing for 1,290 yards from scrimmage, two CFL highs. He ran for 100+ yards six times, averaging 6.1 yards per carry.
Ackie made 48 defensive tackles last season, a team record. The six-foot-two, 223-pound player added six sacks and two interceptions.
Wieneke, who is six-foot-four and weighs 215 pounds, caught 56 fly balls for 898 yards and had 11 touchdowns, the most in the CFL. In two seasons with Montreal, Wieneke had 97 catches for 1,467 yards and 19 touchdowns.
The Alouettes also signed linebacker Kerfalla Exume, offensive lineman Chris Schleuger and quarterback Davis Alexander.
