Several Ottawa-area residents gathered near City Hall on Saturday to denounce the “freedom convoy” protests.
“It is no longer a demonstration to denounce the mandates, but rather to signal their dissatisfaction with the government which has been legally elected,” testified a resident.
Dozens of citizens held signs demanding police intervention to stop this “intimidation of protesters.”
“I went to Black Lives Matter protests and there were a lot more police and everything was peaceful,” she explained.
