(Quebec) Gym owner Dan Marino was found dead in a residence in Boischatel, near Quebec, according to several media.

The Sûreté du Québec confirms having received a call around 11 a.m. Thursday for a man in his fifties in cardiorespiratory arrest.
“The paramedics tried in vain to resuscitate him, without success,” explains Hélène Nepton, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.
His death was pronounced on the spot. According to TVA, Dan Marino was found in his mother’s residence.
Mr. Marino became known to the general public in the spring of 2021. The owner of the Mega Fitness Gym opposed sanitary measures. His gym was at the heart of a major outbreak, which reportedly led to some 500 positive cases.
